What I’ve been listening to, Part 1
I was looking through my album collection the other day and I found Hole’s MTV Unplugged performance. It’s AMAZING, especially this song. Love it.

Men suckkkkkk
All they wanna do is fuck me, and not be in a relationship. It’s kinda depressing because I really haven’t been in a serious relationship for about 2 years. I’m lonely and it’s hard and it SUCKS
Should I just forget about it? Get on with my life until i find someone who actually cares? Take care of myself? I think so! I need to feel better about myself because most of the time I feel ugly and stupid. I am not strong, and I need to be.
ADVICE PLEASE?

Hit So Hard: The Life & Near Death Story of Patty Schemel
I can’t wait to see this! Looks very interesting if you are a Hole / Courtney Love / Kurt Cobain fan…I think I’m gonna get it from itunes soon.
Director P. David Ebersole’s HIT SO HARD is a pull-no-punches portrait of the hell-and-back life of Patty Schemel, the hard-hitting drummer of Courtney Love’s seminal rock band Hole during its peak years. Schemel’s rise to fame on the wave of the early 90′s Seattle music explosion was fast, and her fall from grace (due to drug addiction) was nearly as speedy.
Featuring interviews with Schemel, Courtney Love, members of Hole, Faith No More, Veruca Salt, Luscious Jackson, The Go-Go’s, and more; the film is peppered with stunningly intimate, never-before-seen home videos filmed by and featuring Schemel, Love, and Kurt Cobain. HIT SO HARD is not just a look at the rise and fall of a single musician, it’s an insider’s view of the rise and fall of the whole Seattle scene.
